Deewarein

The citizen has no single face. He belongs to every religion, every region, every language, every class. He disappears into the crowd yet his presence is permanently inscribed on our public spaces. He spits without hesitation, urinates on walls without shame, litters without thought, and leaves behind layers of posters, advertisements, slogans, and promises that slowly consume the city.

As an artist, I cannot separate myself from the social landscape that surrounds me. My studio does not end at its walls; it extends into the streets, the neglected corners, the stained surfaces, and the silent witnesses of our collective behavior. The city itself becomes my canvas of observation.These marks are not merely acts of vandalism—they are visual evidence of how a society relates to its shared environment. My paintings emerge from this uncomfortable reality.
